So I had my endoscopy yesterday. Unbelievably, I now have something elese to add to my list of obesity related yuckies - ACID REFLUX! Oy! I had no idea that I had acid reflux. I knew I felt it sometimes (usually when I overate) but I always attributed it to my diabetes and never thought it was a big deal. But the gastro suggested that I go on Prevacid for a few weeks before the surgery to get it under control. Lovely! Another medicine to want to get off later!
AND I STILL HAVE NO APPROVAL FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY!!!!!WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY WAITING FOR?!?!?!?!2 WEEKS & COUNTING AT THIS POINT!!!
